A note from the founder

I started the way many founders do: unhappy with what the market settled for, and restless to show how this category ought to feel. That sounds familiar because it is true. What took the real work was growing the idea — trying forms, discarding the ones that looked finished but felt wrong — until the product found its home: a conversation with an assistant as the main screen.

I refused the other shape on principle: another dashboard of macro widgets, the default costume of nutrition apps. We are in the era of models and agents; products that fit that era should live there. Photo or a line of text is how you begin. Understanding your food — and your goal — is the point. The journal keeps the day. The chat holds the mind beside you.

I hold the interface to the same standard as the idea: nothing half-finished reaches the plate. I am building the bar for how a nutrition product should feel in the age of agents.
